The Donkey and the Rabbit have roamed the world for the past 20 years. They love each other very much, and they are truly happy only when travelling together.
When they first met, many years ago, they compiled a list of all the places they wanted to see before getting too old, so they put the most difficult ones at the top of the list, leaving the easy ones for a time to come when the backpack would become too heavy for them.
Mozambique holds the longest stretch of Indian Ocean coastline in Africa with some of the most unspoiled beachfront. 2600km of mostly unexplored and often unnamed beaches make this a destination for backpackers and eco-tourists.
Among these beaches two has already becoming an attraction due to the presence of some kind of touristic infrastructure: Tofo Beach and Vilanculos which lies in front of the magnificent Bazaruto Archipelago
Malawi is a land of surprises. After visiting the beautiful Liwonde National Park, an unexpected great Safari Park, we headed south to Mulanje, a small village at the border with Mozambique. We certainly didn’t expect to be able to do trekking in Malawi!
